Fitness Motivation
When a farmer plants corn in his field he doesn't come out the next day,
look at the ground and say "dammit...that didn't work...I quit!". So
why is this concept so hard to understand when it comes to fitness (or
any kind of success)? Efforts today don't produce results today. Instant
gratification is an unrealistic idea that people seem to be addicted
to. Quality results in anything take CONSISTENT effort day in and day
out over long periods of time. So next time you get frustrated remember:
If farmers were to have the same mentality you are working with at the
time...we'd all starve. Be patient and understand that your effort today
DOES produce results...it's just not going to be tomorrow.
